MannKind Corporation is committed to the development of innovative pharmaceutical products that address significant unmet medical needs. In the development of those products, clinical trials are conducted to determine their safety and efficacy in order to be cleared for marketing.

MannKind believes it has an ethical obligation to publish information about clinical trials for our own investigational products or those we develop or co-develop with or for other companies. We publish information on our clinical trials in the scientific journal and participate in the clinical trials registry at www.clinicaltrials.gov. Details on clinical trials are provided to regulatory authorities, as required by law, prior to approval and marketing of all products.

MannKind posts protocol information for all Phase II and III MannKind-sponsored clinical studies for effectiveness to the National Institutes of Health's ClinicalTrials.gov website. All other studies are evaluated internally in order to determine whether to register them on this website.
