“Dreamboat” – A Patient-Focused Inhaler
We have begun clinical studies of a new delivery system, identified internally as Project Dreamboat.
Based on feedback from clinical trial participants, we created Dreamboat in order to provide a re-useable, miniature, breath-powered inhaler in combination with single-use cartridges containing pre-metered doses. The sleek inhaler design fits within the palm of the hand and is ready to use with a quick and intuitive cartridge load mechanism. These attributes result in an easy-to-use, elegant delivery system providing optimal discretion during use.
Initial pharmacokinetic studies will be followed by studies of safety and efficacy involving Technosphere formulations of different therapeutic proteins.
