John R. Riesenberger

John R. Riesenberger is our Corporate Vice President and Chief Commercialization Officer.  From 2001 to 2007, he was a Principal and the Executive Vice President of Shaw Science Partners, a pharmaceutical science branding agency.  Prior to that position, Mr. Riesenberger was with Pharmacia & Upjohn and the Upjohn Company for a total of 28 years, including 15 years in the U.S. organization and 13 years in the international, global and corporate organizations in a diverse range of geographic and functional accountabilities.  Before his retirement, he held the position of Vice-President, Business Intelligence, Global Business Management.  He currently serves as an Executive-In-Residence at the Eli Broad Graduate School of Business, Michigan State University.  Mr. Riesenberger holds a Bachelor of Science degree with a dual major in economics and business and a MBA degree from Hofstra University.
